Antigua Sailing Week, with the generous support of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Board, is pleased to announce that the Road to Antigua Sailing Week 2023 begins this weekend.

This traveling roadshow is a series of invitational regattas outside of Antigua – the UK, USA and Germany – staging a remarkable competition that offers Corinthians, yacht clubs and amateur sailors the opportunity to win the adventure of a lifetime with an all-expenses-paid trip to experience Antigua Sailing Week next year.

The Royal Southern Yacht Club (RSrnYC) in the Hamble in the UK will announce the opportunity at this weekend’s Salcombe Gin July Regatta, 9th and 10th July.

Sailors from area yacht clubs are invited to compete in the final competition of the annual RSrnYC Summer Series, the Land Union September Regatta on September 24-25. The RSrnYC Summer Series features two racing courses in the Solent with eight classes for keelboats and sports boats.

At the end of the event, attendees will see the winner of the coveted bareboat entry to Determined Antigua Sailing Week, with the prize awarded at the RSrnYC Season’s Ball in November.

Representatives from Antigua and Barbuda will be on hand at the event this weekend to answer questions and share details on participating via bareboat charter or racing charter at this grandfather of Caribbean regattas . Plus, they’ll be back in September to toast the winners Caribbean style with English Harbor Rum!
