During the session, Panday addressed questions about how the coronavirus The pandemic has led to an increased awareness of managing mental and physical health, how it has cultivated its own philosophy of balance and the future trajectory of the fitness industry.

The writer opened up about her own fitness journey that began when she was 12, training in the exercise routines of actress Jane Fonda. By discussing the 13 ways her latest book lists for living a balanced life, she brought home the concept of unfiltered inner joy that she experiences as the most meaningful approach to self-fulfillment.

When asked about misconceptions surrounding women and bodybuilding, she delved into scientific approaches associated with bodybuilding and emphasized the importance of muscle building for women. She explained that the female body goes through a lot, from menstruation to the birth of the child, through various stages of menopause. At such times, strength training done in tandem with other exercises becomes the only way to have healthy joints and reduce the risk of falls and injuries.

Each person’s physical and dietary needs are as unique as a fingerprint, she said, and nutrition and exercise habits should be programmed to meet the needs of the individual, not to what is prescribed in general. Watch the session here –
