Company resumes weekend service for US-based passengers on September 17

After 18 months without passenger ferry service between Seattle and Victoria, the familiar red, white and blue catamarans of the Victoria Clipper fleet will arrive in Inner Harbor on Friday, September 17.

FRS Clipper and other US-based international ferry services were given the green light in August to begin transporting US passengers to Canada.

The Victoria Clipper V is due to arrive at 10:30 a.m. Friday for a welcoming committee made up of representatives from the local tourism industry, the City of Victoria, the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce and FRS Clipper.

Between Friday and October 10, the Clipper’s schedule will see him depart Seattle at 7:30 a.m. Friday through Monday and make the return trip the same day at 5:00 p.m. Seattle departure time is 8:00 am and Victoria arrival is 10:45 am. from October 11 to November 22.
