Halloween - Sustainable Dress-Up Ideas

It’s that time of year again when the shops are overflowing with Halloween treats, decorations, and costumes. It can be so much fun to don a disguise and play along, although worrying to think of the waste created with all those plastic nick-nacks, disposable items, and cheap polyester costumes. Not to mention the gender stereotypes that dominate the dress-up aisle!

This year we’ve been conjuring up some sustainable costume ideas which will not only reduce waste but flex your creative muscle; outfits which you can recreate with items you may already have lurking in your wardrobes or can borrow from friends and family.
